The Google Store. Here to Help.
For the opening of Google’s first permanent brick and mortar store, we created a live, walkable version of Google Maps in the streets of New York’s Meatpacking District.
To spark curiosity and interactions with people nearby, the installation recreated the familiar icons native to Google Maps with oversized balloons as directional blue dots, and an attention-grabbing destination red pin indicating arrival at the entrance to Google new store.
